Milkshakes for Grownups!


Summer is quickly approaching, and that moment that you finally land in a lawn chair, book in hand, you’ll need the perfect beverage to keep you cool while you drift away to storyland! I’ve got a super simple milkshake for grownups that you won’t want to miss! Here’s the recipe:

Jenny’s Boozy Milkshake:

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1/4 cup milk (substitute any milk here: almond, coconut, cashew, oat)

2 ounces of your favorite rum (optional)

1 can of pineapple slices

whipped cream (I used coconut whipped cream)

shredded coconut

your choice of fruit garnish

Combine the first 4 ingredients in the blender (but be sure to save a little pineapple slice for garnish). Blend and then top with whipped cream, shredded coconut, and fruit.
